Concept and creation of a commercial to communicate the “lightest table tennis shoe in its class” - to catch the eye not only on social media, but also at points of sale, trade fairs, and on television.
Danish table tennis professional Jonathan Groth discovers the new, ultra-light table tennis shoe adizero in a secret test lab. Suddenly, he’s so nimble that he can play a match of round-the-table against himself! The advantages of this storyboard were obvious: not to mention the fact that this was a game Jonathan couldn’t possibly lose, the commercial also delivered conclusive proof of the revolutionary lightness and swiftness of this new table tennis shoe.
Illusion in super slow motion
But producing the video wasn’t quite as swift as the shoe, because Jonathan Groth had to change sides with surreal speed. However, this illusion was spectacularly created using an RED camera—and by alternating between super slow motion and speed ramps.
