Concept, design, and completion of a catalog focusing on further education opportunities.
It all began in 2012, when we were commissioned to revamp the visual presentation of the ARD.ZDF Medienakademie. Our style experts brought color into the equation, giving the corporate design of the academy a fresh coat of paint: colorful letters symbolized the fresh ideas participants could expect to receive from the various seminars, and liberated educational content from the gray monotony of everyday working life.
For the 2013 program, the “spectrum” of the seminars was chosen as the motto, and the stage was accordingly set in style. The following year, depth was added to the themes - in 2015, the “facets” of the academy provided the focus for the 140-page catalog in the form of optical contrasts and geometric shading.
The rich diversity of different target groups
We also developed new “target group pages”: these were designed to appeal directly to specific occupational groups and enable them to immediately identify suitable courses and content for further education in a visually memorable manner.
Besides the visual makeover for the catalog, technological changes were also on the agenda. Our coders generated a script to directly import seminar content with the layout appInDesign. What benefit did this bring? Time.
